I totally know what you mean, you spent all that time with it you became attached but if its not active enough get rid of it make sure it gets a good home and even ask the people that get your fish to send ya some pics and keep you posted on how its doing or stop by time to time .

I agree with sarah if you want a fish with personality get ya an oscar I know I get a kick out of mine I think you'll really enjoy them .... Hope this helps best of luck to ya

My wife hates my fish, which is OK, I hate her shoes. The world still turns, I do not harass her shoes, she stays away from my tank.

I've been keeping fish since 1998 and never had an issue with her trying to make me get rid of a fish until the Dovii. She's so dang terrified he's going to break the glass and the house will flood with 265 gallons of water.
