That arowana that broke its back was a big problem. He gave it to me to try and fix. And yes it did correct its self out. Has still does not have the grace arowanas are know to have with swimming, but it is 90% better then before. No hump or anything. The arowana would actually lay on the floor in a ball or in a u shape. And everytime I went to take it out. It swam around. Crazy thing knew when i was going to kill it. It took about 2 months in a 55 gallon tank(all by itself) and alot of water changes and food to get it back into the proper shape. The arowana current;y is in albys 180 and looks great

We kept him on feeders rosey reds. So we can acutally see if he was infact eating. As we would buy a dozen and count how many went missing or were on filter intakes. With some hard work you can fix it. Dont sweat it. I would move it to an iso tank. As the fish may not pick on it. But he will be out competed for food. That is my two cents.

ask alby to get some pics of the beast now. He may have a before photo of it too.:headbang2

Here is a pic of the arowana in my 180 before i gave it back. He is the far back one. do you notice anything??
