Is my tank ready for a pair of pups?

thanks for all the help guys. seriously now i'm super nervous about having to take them early as i was hoping for at least another week before i take them..

Hey guys I'm acclimatising the rays now, it's been over an hour. Been using a large cup and removing water and adding water every 10-15 minutes. They seem pretty active in their tub. Should I try feed them tonight or wait until morning??
i personally feed straight away just a small amount. the desire to feed is the most basic instinct of animals. so in my opinion it is one less thing for the ray to be stressed about.
try to give them a small amount of whatever they were feeding on at the breeders.
leave the lights off for a few days is a good idea too.
keep us up to date with there progress, and always feel free to ask questions , like i said before it is nice to be able to help someone who listens.

you have no idea how good the help can be on here. i would be absolutely lost and could have rushed into it being a lot less prepared than i am now.
once i've got them feeding properly i'll make a new thread showing off the new babies and thanking everyone for their help.
for the time being i've got a quick video and a few happy snaps i took which i'll post links too as soon as they've finished.
popped in a few pellets and they had a bit of a nibble then kept exploring their new tank. i might drop in a couple more pellets later since they're more active in the dark.

they seemed very active in the tub while getting acclimated. seemed to be breathing a bit heavy and i could see their mouths look like they were gasping.

a quick video i took. not sure why the camera picked up the right side of the tank to be so dark. but yeah you can see them when they come to the brighter side of the tank. they look very calm and relaxed just working their way around the tank and looking around.

Latest update. They've been in over night and i just checked on them and it's still dark outside. They're both very active and swimming around, tried putting some food again, they just have a nibble and keep swimming. going to try some raw prawns later in the day and do a water check soon as i'm back from classes.

When I got started in fishkeeping mobile phones were the size of brief cases so we didnt have the internet, just constantly visiting the LFS which I was lucky enough to work at whilst at college and the owner was super enthusiastic.

Ok new update. I couldn't get them interested in pellets so I tried shoving them inside pieces of raw prawns and they just spat out the pellets, I got them eating and they ate heaps. They have little humps on their back now towards the stump of their tails. This is a good sign yeah?
Now this is where it gets weird and I don't know what's going on. After about 30 minute I checked the water and got trace amounts of ammonia, so i did a water change, which is where i noticed strange behaviour. They kind of lean on the wall of the tank, and then it looks like they 'stomp their feet' or sneeze a bit? is this normal behaviour? and then now they're super lazy and just lie there and don't move. looks like they're still breathing maybe a bit harder then normal.
