Is my water the cause for all my problems?

I miss those feedings. I had 4 lbs of shrimp last me almost 2 weeks feeding the pond. Now they would put down a pound and a half if offered. Feedings are back to normal at almost a pound a day.

The Prazi did it. 3 days after the 5 day treatment the male ate. No other rays exhibited the loss of appetite. Breathing went back to normal about 3-4 days into traetment if I remember correctly. Next time I will not hesitate to Prazi. I KNEW something was wrong, but didn't do anything. I lost 2 rays because of this. A year ago everyone would have suggested Prazi, but now it seems the norm has shifted to no meds. I guess the trick is to know when you need meds and when you need to watch for signs that you need meds. I really dearly miss those 2 ladies. They were favorites of mine and the pond doesn't seem nearly the same without them. Makes it kinda hard to enjoy the pond now.

All the rays are VERY active now and I've even seen them breaking the water's surface climbing the walls. I'd have to say the drip seems to have them a lot more active then they have ever been.

Here's a lil gift I found a few days ago. I believe this means things are back to normal.

Hopefully things will go much better this time.

The funny thing is this gift was found on the opposite side of the divider then the male that was chewing up all the females. I seperated the problomatic male with the "Mantilla" in hopes of seeing her finally get pregnant. Guess my other male must have finally figured out what he has and how to use it. Good thing too as he is the best looking large male that I have. Considering the ladies he's seperated with they should be some really nice looking pups. Just gotta keep fingers crossed.

Glad things are better...
