I'm not offended by your post. I'm not even offended by them I was just saying it seems OK for everyone to be offended by everything. Years ago you didn't get offended or call a cop or lawyer for everything you didn't like or thought wasn't fair. Life's not far so people need to suck it up already. When I was growing up if you "offended" someone you got punched in the face not subpoenaed. Two *** guys shave their daughters head and call her Bob........sounds like the beginning of a joke. I'm being socially incorrect because I think this is nuts. Then on top of it somebody says "hey" this is some weird crap there pal(s) and gets fired for pointing out the obvious? I don't know what's going on in the world

Like i said ...once again jmo....the fact there is a thread discussion on this topic...while people die in places like iran &saudi arabia...just because they want to get an education and they were born the wrong gender...or paris gets shot up..&this is still bothering people. ..makes me want to laugh & puke up at the same time ...truly tragic imo...this can and is called news..it's somebody's personal business...invaded by phobic people...

I don't understand why they would be offended. I can see it, but I don't understand it.and I don't really see how love or lust isn't natural, if its male on male, male and female or female and female, I see no difference. The reason I like threads like this, is because I'm so open and accepting of different ideas and different opinions, It helps me to understand other individuals better.

Now if were talking about "letting people do whatever they want" and it happens to harm another individual or with bad intentions. I can see how it can be offensive and wrong, but as far as sexuality is concerned, who are we to judge? we like what we like.

Also in case you forgot...this is the Lounge...we can talk about anything we want (except politics and religion). If you want to only talk about serious life threatening type topics...again make your own thread. No one is forcing you to read threads you consider garbage or pointless.

2 people lost their job over this 'news'. What about their family? What if they have children? How are they going to feed them? I'd say this is important. If our country is going down this dark tunnel that anyone can be fired from their job just because they refuse to call a female by a male's name.

I grew up in a similar situation. It is sad to see all the litigation. I remember the days when business deals were done with a hand shake, now its all about contractual obligations, I hate it.
