The proof that being transgender is not a choice but something you are born with is the fact that people don't choose to be homosexual, they are born with that disire, so why should they be punished or judged?
And on the whole gender equality isn't as equal as religious equality, I can't comprehend this, one is a choice, albeit not always one you made for yourself (parents forcing you into a religion or being born into a religious family) one is a way you were born, you had no choice or say in it.
A final point. How many wars have been waged because of transgender equality? These days religion is an excuse for fanatical behaviour, whether it be terrorism or treating someone differently because they don't fit in to your religious views. In my opinion one does far more harm than good and is a real scourge on humanity.

Hello; I do not see any of this as "proof". I understand that you believe homosexuals are born that way. Others have made the same statements to me before. Believing a thing does not make it so, it does make it an opinion. Discover a gene for homosexulaity, that would be proof.

See I don't think it was falling apart until about 25-30 years ago. Before that it was fine, the birth of political correctness was the beginning of the deterioration of our society. Believe me people used to be a lot tougher and men didn't marry other men and didn't run around dressed like women. So I'm the bad guy now, because I'm not accepting of some abhorrent deviation. Look I could care less what people do in their homes. I don't flaunt my heterosexuality and march in some heterosexual day parade, I don't care what someone does I just don't need to see it....that's my right to be offended by it I guess, or don't I have rights?

25-30 years ago? our society has been falling apart even before Roosevelt was in office, even though he was attempting to do so much good..(that's just my opinion). what are you offended by? someones right to do what ever they want? you do know homosexuality leads back to the beginning of humanities history. You have the right to be offended, but why would you be offended by something natural? I've asked that question to a few different people and it's usually offensive to them because they're not comfortable with themselves as an individual. (by no means am I starting an argument or trying to offend anyone who reads this, I'm just a open minded curious individual who thinks the human race as a whole has failed, and these are just my opinions )

I'm not offended by your post. I'm not even offended by them I was just saying it seems OK for everyone to be offended by everything. Years ago you didn't get offended or call a cop or lawyer for everything you didn't like or thought wasn't fair. Life's not far so people need to suck it up already. When I was growing up if you "offended" someone you got punched in the face not subpoenaed. Two *** guys shave their daughters head and call her Bob........sounds like the beginning of a joke. Like i said ...once again jmo....the fact there is a thread discussion on this topic...while people die in places like iran &saudi arabia...just because they want to get an education and they were born the wrong gender...or paris gets shot up..&this is still bothering people. ..makes me want to laugh & puke up at the same time ...truly tragic imo...this can and is called news..it's somebody's personal business...invaded by phobic people...
