Bullcrap. I for one am pissed off at Sony. They had all my personal info, and they lost it because they didn't take the proper precautions. My email account has been spammed 50x more since this was announced. I've even gotten spam texts on my cell phone. And even worse, my CC info may have been compromised. The only thing missing was SSNs. Sony deserves all the legal consequences they have coming
They had a junk email address from me, and no CC info so Im not sweating it at all. I tend not to use the same email for signing up for stuff as I do for actual correspondence, and CC info doesnt get put anywhere if I can help it.

I heard its coming back may 31 but if anyone wants a psn buddy lol > SkyP_510

Yeah, i read some where that sony is pushing to get the whole online system back up by June...

I got a notice from my cabelas card that they changed my credit card info because it had a playstation network charge on it once in the past. Found it interesting that they took the initiative. I don't use my ps3 for anything but bluray and netflix. I am upset though I can't use netflix with the network down, it won't let me sign in.

You should be able to still use netflix if you have the playstation on "auto sign in" and your info is still on there. At least it worked the other weekend when i was visiting my friends at college.

Yup, I've been watching Netflix all along. I'd be really pissed if that didn't work. I'm sure Netflix would have to reimburse users the fees for the downtime, which would then have to be reimbursed by Sony.

Netflix won't do anything and they shouldn't have to, since Netflix is still available on other consoles, devices, and of course the computer. On top of that Netflix is still mainly DVDs. Netflix isn't even a factor in the whole Sony situation.

Unfortunately, I just got a new ps3 from a friend and since I can't sign into the psn, I can't set up my netflix on it, so I just have to settle for netflix on Wii until the psn is back up.

Mine is on auto sign in and the info is there but when netflix starts up it says you must sign in to the ps network. When I try to sign in it says undergoing maintenance or something.
