i got it for free from petland man i wish it can stay in my 55g dun want it to give it away later

Deep fry... Steam fry... Stir fry with veggie... Oven baked... BBQ... Soup... Take your pick ;)

Give it away to someone with a big enough aquarium or indoor pond. They shouldn't even be available to most aquariaists. Over 75% of the people on MFK probably couldn't properly house one.

i do love the fish but i think it will be a problem later on cuz i heard u need at least 2oogallons to keep it

No, you need a tank in the thousands of gallons to keep one into adulthood.

A normal 50 gallon would measure 36 inches in length,,I think that would be enough (for its coffin) or maybe grind it:cry:

ya know this really bugged me
the first time I saw someone post it
but then I got to thinking

yum

/haz his fish and eats eet too

Lets not flame him. I'm sure if it was given away, it was probably in a worse situation where it was as opposed to where it is now.

My recommendation, enjoy it for a little bit. In about 6 months for the sake of the fish you will have to get rid of it. Either find someone here who can house it or give it to an aquarium or LFS. Many LFS wont take it once it gets too big so you may want to consider getting rid of it now.

You probably saved that fish from a bad situation, now you just need to make a plan so it doesnt end up in another bad situation.

Good luck.

Wow not sure what has gotten up most users. This is the second thread I have read where the user was flamed and not actually helped. I have noticed though that most users are new to the site and following the beginners flame. I am sure you won't stay too long on the site if most of this continues.
