Is there such thing as a monster invert?

I think these crayfish are monsters... Awesome monsters!
 
I heard on TV that the record for a lobster was over 44 lbs. That's a huge crayfish, I didn't even know they got that big!
 
the australian yabbies get pretty big.. my guys were about 9" and still growing when they got eaten..
 
yes there is monster inverts. some of the prawn, and quite a few big crays. What do you consider monster?? 8" enough? Alot get that size. 15" a few get that size. Bigger? They get bigger but they get expensive. I have heard that the largest freshwater cray is sometimes shipped out of Australia, but its expensive. I think in the neighborhood of 200 a pop. But I'v gotten out of crays. I used to hunt the rare ones ALOT, but they get expensive after awhile.

this is the big boy :D, if i remember correct. I think these are RARELY shipped out and they are expensive. Im still seaking Cherax setosus(or rotundus, both are apparently the same they just havnt decided on name)
