Is this a decent tank setup for my new Green Terror?

Putting some 'Aquarium carbon' in your filter may help, as will 30% daily water changes, just for a week or so WILL help. If you also use a proprietry water conditioner. Something that removes chlorine and chloramine....

As for testing, we test weekly. Ammonia and Nitrite are zero, Nitrite 10, pH 7.2, KH 3.

We don't run carbon on tanks normally, so there's none in there now. I'll see if we have some I can throw in.

As for conditioner, we use Prime.

There's nothing wrong with him, he acts and eats fine, the water's just a little pink!
