Is This a Fair Trade or Is Someone Getting the Shaft???

I have 3 IT's and am thinking of trading one for an RTGG. I'm not sure of the value of either but I'm willing to trade one IT for the RTGG. Here's a photo of two of my three Dats, they're about 9.5", stable all the time and eating pellets. The RTGG is 11-12", has really nice red coloration and looks very healthy.

Would this be a fair trade to both parties or is someone getting burned?

This only my opinion, but I would NEVER trade any dat for a rtgg!

Someone's only getting burned if you don't want a big rtgg and the other party doesn't want a big dat. I personally wouldn't trade, but only because I'm not a big fan of rtgg's

Ok thanks, but what about the value of each fish? I never see RTGG's in the lfs' here and this might be my only chance to get one. But I don't have the $$ he's asking to buy it.

In MY honest opinion, I would never trade a IT of that size for a RTGG. But that is just me and not my fish to do what I want with. Whatever you choose is your decision.

Ok, I'm not really asking about how much you guys like RTGG's. Does anyone know what each one is worth? Are they about equal in value?

I have no idea on how much a rrtg goes for when they are large. When they are small an IT does cost alot more than the rrtg of the same size.

I've seen IT at that size go for around $200-300 if not more. There was a RTGG at one of my LFS and it was around 12". They wanted only $100 for it.
