lol I know what you mean but really I'm trying to find the value of a Dat dollarwise compared to the RTGG in question. I thought IT's were the least costly of the Dat complex. If it's any consolation, I called the deal off.

Those IT's, with the base color as it is and the solid black bars would be worth considerably more to alot of Tiger fans than a regular Indo of similar size. Are the bars symmetrical on both sides? If so they are probably the Sumatran variant of D. Microlepis, or as the japanese call them "real band". They fetch a bit more than the traditional 4 barred indo. Personally, i would not let them go for an RTGG.

Trust me these Dats are far from perfect. This one has 6 stripes on one side and seven on the other.




This one has a splotch instead of a bar right in the center on each side. He's my favorite one though. And the last one hides all the time isn't very stable.

I'd never trade any dat for an rtgg. growth rate vs growth rate, if you want a rtgg just buy a small one.

haha..... ya dat always better than rtgg.... i can get a rtgg for like 20 bux and grow it to that size in couple months..... but dat.... it'll take you years to get it that big.... and rtgg's value decrease over time jsut because , really, no one wants them in the end.... on the contrary, dat's value just go up and up and up as it gets bigger...

Thank you for the solid advice Pupumole. I think you're right about everything but the part about taking years to grow my Dats this big. I've only had them 16 months and they grew from 1.5" to (I just measured them Sunday) 9.5-9.75"TL. Here's the pics of them when I got them. I can show you the measured pics later if you want to see them.
