Oh dear! May I suggest some advice, like how about you buying a proper glass tank for your fish? Instead of put fish in random containers?

C'mon let's not all jump on his back now. If he have his goal and the $$$ to get the job done. Then all power to him.

Well the problem is dont buy the fish until you have the tank you know that makes sense dont keep them in a Giant water bottle.:screwy:

Please explain to me what's wrong with keeping some juvie fish in a make shift container on a temporary basis? What, none of you have never seen anyone utilize a rubbermaid container on a temporary basis, as in when their tank breaks?

Give the kid a break, as long as water quality is being maintained, for the time being there isn't anything wrong with what he's doing.

Everyone seems quite torn here, either give him a hard time for lack of care to the fish, or words of encouragement and care to him.

Either way dude it's hard to take what your saying as valid when it sometimes seems as if your reversing your standpoint i.e. asking is it a flowerhorn then go on to say you knew it was.

We all love our fish, we just need to show some love to other fish lovers. I recommend doing much more research and not keeping the fish in any sort of... container..

$4000 Philippines money is like $92 US

Exactly, and there isn't a PetSmart on every street corner as one might see in the USA.

So what if he has some juvie fish in a temporary container? He clearly stated that his "tank" broke, and he needs to get it fixed. So what's all the hoopla over? We're not talking about a tank busting 14" flowerhorn being jammed into a fishbowl.

Some of you need to get off of your high horses, and keep in mind where the OP lives.

Yeah, I understand your view point, but a small container in which he can throw a HOB on the back is more like what he needs to be using.

A Water container? Come on.

Yes, we have all used rubbermaid containers, but there are rubber maid containers that hold 10-50 gallons- which is definitely suitable for housing fish temporarily.

His tank broke, but yet he bought another fish... that makes NO sense.

While I am sure they may not have petsmart, but they do have fish stores. Maybe even a walmart.

Most of them just want to jump on someone because someone jumped them whenever they asked for advice... Kinda like revenge in a sorta pathetic way lmao...

Like the other guys say just keep the water clean and you'll be ok for a short while until u can get the tank repaired
