The reality is he didn't even buy this fish, his uncle did, nor did he state that it was purchased after his tank broke.

I think that some of you need to brush up on your reading comprehension skills.

they are kept alone. im keeping them in different containers and i had just finished moving the other fishes to a larger container.

I'm guessing by the comments here that some of you must have been expert fish keepers at the age of 14, but somehow failed miserably in comprehending the English language.

Ok, so since it's his uncles fish, why did he take them if his tank is broken? Why not leave them with the uncle where they were to begin with?

No, none of use are experts at keeping fish, but any normal person on this forum even at 14 yrs old would no that it's not ideal to keep them in a water jug, let alone post it without getting flamed.

Again, it's simple to go to a store and buy a container which can actually be used to house them.
 
There custOms are a hell of alot different than ours in the us not everybody can just drive to a walmart everyday... We donn know how Long the fish has been in the tub... His tank could have busted yesterday... Who knows... But if my tank busted I sure as hell would put the fish in anything that would hold water until I go a chance to get something better
