No, you need to read. He said NOTHING about his uncle giving him the fish:

"My uncle is a fighting fish breeder and he had a FH 1 jewel 6 3 spot gouramis and 4 dwarf gouramis and lastly 3 climbing perch , kindly identify if the flowerhorn is a flowerhorn or a south american cichlid"

My uncle gave me those fish so he can focus on his latest batch of betta fry END OF STORY.(no offense meant)

So it's not uncle's fish, its OP's fish NOW.

There custOms are a hell of alot different than ours in the us not everybody can just drive to a walmart everyday... We donn know how Long the fish has been in the tub... His tank could have busted yesterday... Who knows... But if my tank busted I sure as hell would put the fish in anything that would hold water until I go a chance to get something better
pretty much your right whats bad for you taste like a betta in lets say a mayonaise jar is normal to us(i keep mine in a 1 gallon ice cream container.) BTW did you know my city's most famous pet shop has the worst conditions ive ever seen, with 3 - 5 dead fish in every tank with cloudy water and they even sell eyeless fish but the worst conditions are their bettas containers which are the same size as your pointer and thumb forming a circle , BTW did you know some people keep 6 mollies in a pickle jar so as you know there are far worst conditoins than mine. if you want to know the pet shops name just ask me

You're doing what you can, so don't worry about it. I'm sure the fish appreciates your efforts to help keep him going. :)

There are people in American who keep their bettas in pretty random containers too. I know a girl who uses a 3 gallon wine glass, and pickle jars are strangely common here too.

If your saying you can't afford a proper tank and/or betta jar, then why do you keep fish? Your fish aren't as happy as they could possibly be, and your just further straining yourself financially.

or if your saying that your LFS doesn't sell tanks (even though I'm pretty sure they do) you obviously have internet, so online ordering shouldn't be a problem.

sorry if i came off as a d!ck. not trying to be, just trying to understand.
