Is this a good cray tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would say so. The rivers I find em in look a lot like that. You need drift wood though.

honestly, ur worrying too much, i had my cray in an eclipse 5 gallon corner with absolutely no special treatment and it lived a great life until it killed itself molting

Looking like I got scammed anyway. It's been at least two weeks and my chest is aching with anticipation. I'm thinking of stocking it with my PITA algae eaters and just keeping it cycled in case my crays ever do show up someday. Just goes to show even an MFK'er can be crooked. :(

My biggest couple should be berrying any day now. Will likely have a bunch of babies coming in November. I can send ya some from the first batch just for shipping costs if you haven't got any by then.

I don't want to soil any names just yet. Giving the seller one more chance to contact me and beg for mercy.

Thanks for the offer, Dark Jester. I'll keep it in mind. :)

One more reason I'm giving him more time. The seller has good feedback.

Good news: Guy emailed me a few times (encrypted emails with my own email address as the heading got ignored! Oops!) and he's sending an adult or three with the rest. Seller clearly intends to make good on the deal.

Weird news: The hair algae mat is now the size of a basketball and I'm afraid it will entangle the babies. Thoughts?

I have recently been speaking with the original person to ever import marbled crays into the U.S. and also supplies them to universityies for scientific studies. Marbled crays are 80% herbivore and will prob munch on that stuff like no other. apparently their favorite food is cucumber also.
