IS THIS A GOOD DEAL for $1700????

I'm new to all of this so I need your advice. My friend is looking to purchase a tank and is interested in this one. I think its a good deal but I could be wrong.. What does everyone think???

Egh idk.. If he's willing to make his own sump and do his own plumbing, then that isn't the greatest deal ever.. if he's kinda lazy and doesn't wanna do anything himself, then yeah it prolly is a decent deal..

With $1,700 though, you could build quite an interested plywood aquarium with a very nice sump set up..

What do you mean if he is willig to make his own sump? The sump it comes with is no good?

We checked craigslist in our area and couldnt find anything nice. He is looking to put this in his living room so I think the cherry wood stan appealed to him. I know nothing about the mechanics of tanks. So to me it looked ok. But you guys are the pros so I believe you if you say it sucks! Lol
