I have seen some insane deals on tanks bigger than that and they were cheaper..I would take that for way less..people would go to craigslist for deals..so probably a good idea to lower that for who is selling it..but ya try craigslist.
 
It doesnt suck, its just overpriced. You can get a new 195g on glasscages for that price...that guy is asking more than retail price

I've seen a custom 360g complete setup on CL for $600
 
Geez I got a lot to learn! Lol. So were does everyone recommend besides craigslist! Glass cages? Anywhere else he can get a complete setup?
 
The fact that it's so tall and that it's a used tank also would make me nervous... Tall glass tanks are more prone to leaking IME. It does depend on availability in your area but a brand new tank is going to be the same price range.

Well do you want glass or acrylic? A glass tank that size is going to need a team of guys moving it in the house. I can move my 225 gallon acrylic with two people (and I'm not a big guy). Just something to consider, there are plenty of threads out there on the pros and cons of both. If you're dropping that kind of money do lots of research.

Wow, that is priced WAYYYYYYY too high. Your buddy could get a brand new setup for that kind of $. Just keep checking Craigslist for tanks, you can end up finding some really nice setups for short money. I've seen setups pretty much identical to that go for less than half the money they want.
