WTF! Dude walk away from the deal! That jack hole advertised a reef ready tank and it is not reef ready. A reef ready tank is a premium tank that includes a mechanical filter, wet/dry, uv sterilizer, and usually an ozone system. All you add is live rock and corals. That dude only is selling a tank with a drilled overflow. Without the equipment, that tank is just another 55g tank. You can buy one new for that price at Walmart! And you will get a filter with it too! Don't spend more than a hundred bucks on a used 55.

I know about it NOT being reef ready Im not looking for a reef ready tank the reason i think is a pretty good deal is cuz It has a wooden stand its driiled with built in overflow, glass lids, strip light and all I have to get is the wet/dry. Plus I can't get a drilled 55 gallon with a wooden stand for 175 at walmart.

very true. If you like it, you should get it. You really have to be the best judge if it is right for you. Prices vary by location so if that is good for your area then jump on it. Some DIY wet/dry filters are pretty cheap and can hide in the stand.

Once you have your fish up and running you won't dwell on the price you paid. Fact of life. I spent $128 on our 55 acrylic w/oak stand and little else but I don't care now. I probably spent that much again on the happy fish that thrive in it.

Well here it is, just waiting to be filled up. I find the fish tank to be more patient than me in waiting to fill it up.:nilly:
