Is this a green terror or something else

As others have said, there is no such thing as "true" when dealing with common names. Its a shame more people don't learn more about Latin nomenclature, the guy in the link papawoody posted said "[they are] what most call a "true" green terror. they arent saums. im not gonna throw out the R word because i dont want that debate going on in this thread", in other words he's too scared to claim they are the true species because of the usually heated discussions around what is a "true green terror/rivulatus". He could have saved himself all that typing with two letters and a full stop. He should be calling them Aequidens cf. rivulatus, which means they are a fish of the genus Aequidens, possibly the species rivulatus or otherwise closely related (cf. = compare with). Then there is no confusion or arguement, and he isn't claiming they are something they aren't.
