ummm is there some joke that i missed? this def NOT a jack... its a cyano juvie what in the world is making you guys think this is a jack at all?

I have two guesses. (1) its a JD that is just super pearly or (2) its a JD cross Texas. The mouth and pearls are really making me think hyrbid

I really dont know on this one ,I see the shape of a JD and some blue speckles but no JD lips or head and I do see signs of Texas.Heres one more look .Time will tell with updates coming.

I agree I have had Jds before and really didnt want to buy a Jd but when I see something different about a fish that catches my eye I will get it.

Blue Acara.?.?.?.

i still think its a pure cyano, just very young. at that size many fish have the same shape and just change as they grow, and the blue speckles are def the small spots of a cyano not close at all like the speckles of a dempsey. only way this looks different from the cyano juvies i grew out in that past is the red on top of the dorsal but many fish exihibit this (especially CAs) so it very well could just be a unique individual, but time will tell. once he has put on a few inches it will be clearer whether he is actually a cyano or a hybrid

@red devil horde...Really? so now we'r just throwing out whatever name comes into our head without even an educated guess...
