Is this a Lap?

But also not quite the reversed D of a CB. To be honest I am baffled. Wish I could see this IRL to asses for myself. I take back about it being a CB Nigerian lap. I have no idea what this guy is.

Some pictures reminded me of a Kolba. Some pictures reminded me of just WC Guinea Lap. Doesn't look like a typical Nigerian IMO.

Koliba would be a better guess base on the latest pics. But the earlier pics dun look like a koliba's head more like a CB Nigerian's. IMHO it is certain not a guinea lap because of the finlets. All my guinea laps have very sharp looking finlets.

I just had a heated argument with the original owner, and he kept saying this is a PBB >.<"

He said he got 3 of them 2 years ago, 1 died and they all have patterns of a PBB, but they were washed out under arowana tanning white light :o
 
Then it shouldn't be a cb pbb. They came out only a yr ago.

I was looking at Farox thread and just feel that it does look very much like a CB PBB. If the previous owner say it looks like pbb markings either it is a pbb or a Nigerian lap. Kolibas, Guinea laps, koloton all have different markings for those 2. The puzzling thing is he got it 2 years ago. Then again, some may have been released earlier without much buzz. I do live half way round the country from u guys. Take a look at Farox's CB PBB from this link.

I think my pbb have a longer hea than this one, but not dure :P would be cool if it shown some colors. Btw a PBB have a minimum of 15 finlets i belive, thats what mine got xD

Please if you can, try adding some sand in the tank, not on the whole buttom just some to make like a mix and lower lighning to try to get pattern to show, I dont think it will look much better than it looks now with your bottom :/
 
pattern is coming back slowly, but it is still abit faded

how can I stop it from rubbing the glass? it's damaging its lip >.<" :irked:

In some pics head looks longer and more pbb and some shorter and lap :P dunno but pattern looks more lap
