Yours might be male but as always vent to be sure. Ive found it difficult to tell with mayans by their fins like midas and devils. Its never 100%.

So I told my lfs about the fake festae, they proceeded to tell me about how red devil and midas was the same thing. And that the festae redness was from breeding color.

Both have the common name red terror but definetly not the same...mayans have sone color but will never get the colors festaes have not even when breeding

I like my local fish store. Just wanted to inform them. I buy stuff here a lot but I think with all my research in the last few years and how in depth I get with it that I might know more then them now. But Mayan is ok with me. I don't want a super aggressive fish anyway. Even tho I'm growing out a red devil right now.
