nothing wrong with mayans,, they are just slightly less aggressive version (maybe a little smaller too) of red terror... you have a nice fish...

I also pick up a bocourti at 1-1.5" awesome color already. Looks like I'm have to get rid of some fish this week. Midas creamsicle, pearsei will be trading back to lfs

just wanted to pipe in here real quick. My wife and i fell in love with the festae's when we bought some F1 or F1.5 festae fry. Right now our little festaes are only about a inch long. And we have several 125g tanks. How would or does this. Mayans cichlid differ from the festae's attitude or personalities?

Right now we have 4 small oscars in one 125g tank and 5 festae in another 125g tank. I like to breed the fish and my wife just loves looking at and talking to them.
