Let me rephrase what i meant...There are NO "BABY" ST. call it what you want CT, VT but there are NO baby Siamese Tigers. There are captive adults but no wilds are known to exist in the Laos or Thailand provinces. Those that are captive are not breeding. No one has figured out the process of breeding true "ST".

trust me I live in a country that dinner plates them...
That's kind of what I thought you meant but of course I wasn't sure....I have read that the remaining wild pulchers were fished and eaten into non existence.....As I am typing this there is a program on television about a groups efforts to stop the trafficking of tigers(big cats)in Thialand. They are being aided by a woman who is described as a princess in the Thai royal family and she works to protect and save the wildlife there...I wonder if she was aware of the pulcher situation.

You need to get up to speed my friend. ST CT VT are all pulcher.
If you are saying there are no pulcher in the wild you're wrong. There are none in Thailand for sure. Laos i'm not sure of, Burma not sure of, Cambodia small numbers, Vietnam small numbers.
Please don't confuse the issue by thinking ST means Siamese tiger only.
Pulcher is what we're talking about.

I'm not sure if that's an ST or just a nice indo, but I definitely think it's possible that there are/will be baby pulchers in the market some day. If they can breed IT dats, they'll find a way to breed ST too. People thought it was impossible for indos to be captive bred but the thousands that showed up in fish stores last year prove that they can be CB and I think that'll happen with the ST too. The only difference is that if they do breed ST, the numbers will be smaller to keep the supply seem low and the prices high.

I don't recall seeing or hearing anything about indos being captive bred.Would I like for that to be the case?... heck yeah but there has been no proof or claims of it.The large numbers of baby indos that came in only mean that they will soon be gone in the wild along with the pulchers.

they call it CT mekong datnoids yeah if u wating and see when that fish grown up to 10" will cost double that prize

I would buy that... but $400?!?! Seems like the going rate no matter what part of the world you are from is $400. Which means they are getting it for way cheaper then $400. Either the price will come down or go up very soon....

Maybe I could buy a bunch and grow them out. But then again, I've just lost over 100 of ST wannabe Indo. I just don't know what to do.:(:(:(
