They are male and female,dicrozoster is the male, the other one without the black cheek mark is female.
They may well pair up and breed but the fry will be hybrids.

A little update on him. He's gotta so used to me that he'll come to the top and wait for food. Showing much better colors. Always the first to eat and always hungry.

I've been looking for a female dicrozoster that's local but have no luck. The female that I have for it I believe is a geo abalios. My pair of redheads spawn every month so far. This is their 3 spawn. First spawn only 3 fry survived. Second spawn they ate all their eggs. Now the third spawn only dad is holding the eggs/ fry. Fingers crossed that there'll be more fry. Oops, just realized I replied to the wrong thread. Was looking at your geo red head spawn which brought me here. I meant update for the fry and too bad you werent closer so I could buy some. Haha.
