Is this dehumidifier enough for a fish room or would I need something bigger than this?

We need the specs on it and how many gallons are in the fish room.

Without a model or specs we can't guess based on anything more than price.

And for $25 the best I can give is...LOL, No. I don't think you can even get one good enough for dehumidifying a closet for that price. My dehumidifier was $450 usd, and probably ok for a midsized fishroom. Maybe.

This is the one I have and it works well keeping my humidity in the lower 40% and higher 30% and anything else. The tanks in the room it’s in are
3x 20 high
3x 29
1x 40 breeder
I also had a 75 running at one point in that room.

In total 262 gallons, a decent sized fish room for average fish keepers. Before this dehumidifier I had a 75, 55, and a 29 I think for a year or so and with the temperature always a low 80 and the humidity in the high 80’s I developed upper respiratory bronchitis due to it. Spending more money on a better dehumidifier is always worth it.

What should you ideally be keeping your humidity at? Mine is all over the place...?‍♀Thanks

I believe, don’t quote me, that 60% is where a normal room sits at. You could look it up online if you wish to in order to get a better answer by someone who knows what they’re talking about rather than I with my hazy memory.

50-60% is usually quoted as the ideal. I rarely see mine anywhere near that low, usually in 80s in my house over winter if I don't have the dehumidifier running.

I would agree, take a look at the link I posted. That one will most likely keep you going through several more tank additions.
