Hey all, I'm new here, nice forum by the way :nilly:
3days ago I got a pair of pearl, they are still acclimating maybe,
a bit signs of stress like rushing to the corner, tries to get out of water desperately sometimes, only eat a little bit of ghost shrimp.
This is the photo of the male.. about 5 inch
He does this for like 10-15 minutes / hour.
Is this categorized as fin curl?

Tank conditions : Ph 6.8-7.3 Heater set to 89
Should I cover the tank to get it dark?
Should I get any medications or water add ons ??

Hoping to hear some great tips soon,
Thanks!!

Hi
Any updates on your ray? One of my motoro is also showing this symptom. Kinda in a dillema here cz duno what causes this and how to cure it

yeah. I m minimizin the lights, do 20-30% wc with age water daily n giving them mp and blood worm 2-3x a day
the ammonia is 0 n ph is stabil at 7
i have only 1 4 inch pelco and 2 motoro in a 4x2x1.5 tank

what puzzles me is that the ray is active n eating healthly

Keep the tank dark and offer good foods. Did you test you water?

my motoro died after suffering fin curl for 5 mins..
probably due to ammonia poisoning
at least your water conditions are far better than mine, so I dont think you have a serious problem other than your motoro tryin to mimic a dolphin

omigod
So sorry to hear that but i thought the one having the problem was ur pearl?
