Is this Fin rot?

Have a similar sort of thing with my larger black; http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?562641-Black-aro-fins

I've looked back at pics of other blacks I've had and it seems like none of them had perfect fins. Keep your water clean and warm and if it isn't getting worse I wouldn't be too concerned.

Just tested my water...
Ammonia-0ppm
Nitrite-0ppm
Nitrate-20-40ppm
This was done post water change, I tested it a couple of days ago and they were
A-.25ppm
rite-0ppm
rate-20-40ppm
Are my nitrates to high or am I ok...seemed to me that it was more in the 30ppm range

Just an update of my aros fins. He's growing like crazy and fins have filled out nicely! I think what happened was I didn't have enough bio filtration and it just took a little while for it to catch up once I switched to the sump. Eats everything in sight and healthy, happy!!
