i was just lookin for the species name. but theres an african tiger fish that only reaches 18 inches, and no its not a Hesphestues Oboe(spelled really bad) Or whatever.........

ill keep lookin...................

if it was me id do a species of large mormyrid, about 6 diff bichirs, an african knife , and some pretty big congo tetras liek 3"-4" to avoid gettin eaten by da bichirs, like 10....................

I like this tank idea. you get color and a biotope, which keeps your parameters in line.

That is a GREAT deal. Id ditch the cascade and UGF cause they suck IMO and get a nice cannister or two or build your own W/D.

The african oddball tank sounds nice. A SA/CA cichlid tank would contrast nicely with your Africans. There is tons of options out there!
