I also stopped buying from that chain. I had too many bettas perish. This one came from the other competitor, and I’ve had him for about a month. My other ADF is fine. When I post pics of her people think she’s sick because she is very light. But I’ve had her for about 4/5 months. I’m going to get another one from a third chain that just opened here in my area. Of course, not until the catfish is healthy and back in the big tank. Less mess in the little tank with less inhabitants. Altho to me its like she is darker in the shade and lighter under the lights. Idk, she eats well and water parameters are fine.
