Agree.way too young. You will have a better chance at sexing it once it hits around 6" in total length. Being a dominant fish or the presence of the opposite sex in the tank will increase your chances at identifying the sex. Pointed dorsal/anal fins are not a tell tale sign of sex.

I thought I would have a few months before having to separate them, The Oscar is now hiding in the corner despite being almost twice its size.
Even though they are in a 125 Gallon tank and are both tiny.
