no the new tank is not set up yet. They are in 50 gals.

No problem - very normal. I have a couple of rays playing this way - yepezi and reticulata. The others (in the same tank don't do that). That's part of the beauty in stingrays - they have personality, and their behavior may differ one from the other.

Anyhow - enjoy it, your ray is beautiful and interesting.

heaters in the tank? power heads? looks like my old motoro who was active and playfull but stray voltage can cause a ray to go crazy

Hello Nic, yes heater is in the tank but there is two other rays in the tank with him and they are find just normal.

I try that when I get home, as far as I remember I don't think there is no electricity in the tank otherwise I will know last time I put my hand in the tank.
