based on aggression of adults... I would consider a tank with a festae, jag & Texas a disaster waiting to happen...

and the smaller Cichlids would feel the stress of these three tough guys swimming around...

I agree with Nutcase to small of a tank. Personally I would get a 240 gallon and keep the Festae, Texas, Jag, JD get rid of the others and maybe add a school of SD or Tinfoil Barbs.

Agree with above. You are way overstocked....you can probably keep 2 for life if they get along...

They're not overstocked for the size they are now, so just keep watching your tank and how they do on aggression. I wouldn't fly into a panic, which I think is what too often happens on these boards when someone gets stocking advice. Certain fish won't get along with certain fish, but you can't be sure based on the type of cichlid alone.

Also, I would say you CAN keep more than two for life in a tank that size if you have no major aggression problems.

I believe yabby's are the various former UK country slang for crayfish/crawfish/crawdaddies or what ever else we call them. At least I know some Irish and Canadians that call them that.

i have a 105g (6x18x18)
occupants are:
1 jack dempsy
1 geo Brasiliensis
1 festae
1 jag
1 texas
1 pictus catfish
1 bristlenose
2 yabbys

everyone gets along well but the geo an the festae hate each other always have a little blue everytime they meet up!
the jack is the most dominent believe it or not although ive never seen aggression out of it before he keeps everyone in line i think.
the jack is a male,the jag is female i think, others have no idea think festae mite be male or a mayan? ill try get some pics up soon!

It might not seem like it for now if they're small. Personally, I would play it out as they grow. You have some potentially territorial and aggressive fish in there that will probably have to go eventually.

if i did that its only gettin rid of the geo which aint goin to happen seein as hes so colourful an full of personallty!
