Hello guys,
So heres my thing. I have a 90g tank with a 11" tiger oscar, a 14" common pleco(not gibbiceps the black one), a hoplias malabaracus, and the newest addition that was thrown in not to long ago (about a month) a jaguar cichlid. Now i recently got and API test kit, nitrates and amonia were 0, but PH was 6 and nitrate was like 20ppm. So lately i have been a bit lazy with the water changes so i did a good 45%ish change today.
Now what i want to know is that is the current stocking i have bad? I know the jag needs a bigger tank if kept with other tank mates due to aggression, but my main concern for now is the waste. For filtration i hav an AC 110 and a AC 70 running.
So what i need to know is how bad is this current stock? Also if i do water changes like 2 times a week will that make the water safer?
