Hello,
I have a pond wich is on average 1,5m deep and has an approximate surface of 3000-4000m^2.
It has a very high population of crayfish, shellfish, insects, larvae, frogs, perches, carps and many other nonpredatory fish from two to 30cm in length.
I am thinking of adding a small school of spotted or longnose gars, but I am not sure if this pond is big enough so that the new added school of gars is capable of feeding them selves on their own without destroying the populations of the other fish speciesm, so the pond could keep his own balanced.

So I ask you what you think about this, is the pond too small or is it definetely big enough to sustain all populations of both Gars and the other fish in a balanced way? And if yes, how big should the school be?

I am very thankful for any kind of answer or question.

Best regards
