Yea I meant like roots under water plant over waterYes, it's pothos; not too certain what you mean by semi-aquatic. Their roots and main rhizome can be submersed in water (recommend pruning roots and propagating from the parent plant, as I usually get better initial growth rates) but the leaves will not fare well long-term underwater.
I’ll keep that in mind but it’s Gonna go in my Oscar’s tank and if it’s under water…yeah that’s self explanatoryYou can grow them submerged but they have to be adapted first. The vine Pothos does better underwater than the potted. I made a thread on this a while back:

I’ve had a big fake plant and he demolished it he violently attacked it he tore that thing to shreds… and hes not small… he’s I think full grown idkMy O liked to push them around and explore through them but that's it. When he was small he'd sleep in the vines. Actually my acaras and severrum would strip and eat them all the time but I had enough in there they couldn't go through it all.
