Is this tank big enough for this stock?

That's very untrue man. Kelbri are the FASTEST growing pbass. Smallest are orinos. They stay around 17-18 inches

Might want to research more, as far as i know intermedia are the smallest. Kels grow nowhere near as fast as temensis

That is still a little big lol. Can I get one single orino? Or maybe 2? Three? Would they eat anything other than the convicts? Because I think I'm going to keep the convicts in my 55. They are top dogs so they could probably fend off all my other fish in that size tank. They are now.

Agreed build the setup then worry about the stock. Its not like you could add them all at once anyway. Its gonna be a long slow process of conditioning the tank and making sure your filtration is enough.

Not criticizing the choices you are making with stock but with a tank that size you have so much nicer options than what your local Petsmart carries.

Cichlas get very big in general. You can keep a single, but people say they do better in groups. The convicts will eventually get eaten. Unfortunately any fish it can fit in its mouth comfortably will be eaten. These guys have big appetites and the mouth to go with it lol. I may avoid these guys unless you do a large predatory tank

Definitely will have a aggression issue with that stock list. Have u ever thought of doing singles instead pairs or trios? Singles should keep the aggression down and by having that many pairs if they breed it'll be a royal rumble in there. Do singles. Just a thought.

What kind of large predatory tank can I do? I never thought of that.
