Yah thts a good idea make sure hes moving around and not hiding alot. Unless u are doing maintenance on the tank

ive attached the present pictures of him.....he is playing around and is also alert if i offer food but still he does the same he spits out the food
Not sure if his refusal to eat is due to some underlying but not yet revealed health issue, or it could just be he's still stressed in his new home, esp. as he can clearly see the other flowerhorn.
Also each of their compartments isn't so big, you're going to need bigger homes for both in the near future, they grow pretty fast at that stage.
Insofar as the other fish possibly stressing him out maybe you could cover the glass partition, e.g. slide in a piece of colored plastic future board (looks like cardboard but made of plastic) so they can't see each other.

rather having them in compartments ill go ahead and just transfer him to other 3ft tank he'll have enough of space there.
hope so he feels stress free and starts eating again.

i did starve him for a day and today morning offered him pallets, he ate them but left a few
so i juts removed the left away pellets after a few mins
