Well, even if you can't make it to the expo... maybe you and your parents can call up MaxMan Reptile Rescue and ask what they have in terms of Bearded Dragons. Don't be scared to ask if you could go and see several before you make a decision, I must have stared at Yavie's photo for a week before I decided she was the one I wanted to adopt-- Don't rush it, and its perfectly fine to buy your setup before you get your dragon. Be sure you've got everything in place and ready.
 
im actually thinking of building a cage. i am pretty handy with tools. and it sounds fun and i could make it big and how i want!!! and thanks for the info!!
 
hahahaha and im no expert but i dont think you could get the tank andd setup for $40. just saying but i dont know anything.

you can bargan shop as well.

i dont buy anything from a pet shop.

dome light setup and bulbs come from home depot.
dome- 5 bux
bulb- 6 bux

buy a cracked aquarium. not a huge crack but once a tank gets a small crack people ussually toss them since they are no good for fish. also check with your local shop sometimes they get rid of old tanks cheap. i scored a 125 years ago for 50 bux. had a crack and was used. wouldnt work for fish but worked for my reps for a while.

setups can be done cheap. you just have to look for them.
 
That's a good idea. That really helped me save some money in the future!! Can u get the UVB bulb at home depot too??
