Isn't it ironic? Petsmart return policy

When I worked at Petsmart, we set up a 20 gallon in the back for "sick" fish. Really, we would take every fish that some one brought in and keep it back there untill we decided who gets what . Actually, we never did anything by policy, the aquatics crew were just all avid fish keepers. But the store was the best in the east coast, never had sick fish, and alawys clean tanks. Funny how "company policy" can be over-ridden by a little knowledge.

Actually, I got some free fish at Petsmart. Some guy tried to donate a whole bucket full of fish, they told him no, I told him YES!

I was there the other day getting crickets and this lady was netting a couple of goldfish for someone, one of the fish jumps out onto the floor, the customer had to pick it up off the floor, put it in the net and then the employee goes "Oh it looks fine but we do have a 2 week policy so if anything happens just bring it back and we'll exchange it"...

Petsmart sounds like a crap place, glad we don't have it here, I read lots of horror stories. Is it pets-mart or pet-smart, I've always though it was pets-mart but cant be sure, just though if it was pet-smart it would be ironic aswell.

I once donated a CK to them. They told me I couldn't get anything for it because they couldn't sell it. They were just going to put it in their display tank in the break room...I come in 2 weeks later and they were selling him for $40

That def did not happen at Petsmart. We can only sell stuff at the corporate price, and we do not sell CKs for 40$ lol...
