Looking for a group of 3-5 juvy cichlids 2" - 3" or so that I can grow out. Top species are:

Gold Saum/orange trim Green Terror
Super Red Texas
Carpintis
Vieja Regani/Argentea/etc.

Not looking for Flowerhorns, Red Terrors, Convicts, or any fish that don't 'pop' in the tank. Goal is to eventually have a single centerpiece male for a show tank.

Will request pics of exact fish available and parents if possible. Willing to pay extra for quality!

Located in Boston. Willing to travel to much of New England/NY or pay for shipping.

Srt you will have to find a private breeder like 99% are gonna be in thailand/malaysia, which means trnashipping charges as well. That will be your best quality of srt in my opinion. I just bought a female friday check out my previous posts. Carpintis are easily found on ebay, and multiple sights such as cichlids of the americas. Tangled up in cichlids etc. Multiple Vieja also at COTA.

Take a look at COTA or TUIC both quality breeders/importers

Got this Amphilophus Saggitae from TUIC near three years ago now

Ordered some 6in females from COTA, they were in great shape, sadly just didn't work out with Casper.

I also ordered a male and female Herichthys Carpinitis from COTA. Fish arrived in great shape.20190320_113001.jpg20190221_130805.jpg

Its always worth a shot but just realize, that faded female with transhipping, cost me about 700 dollars. Less faded and red the less youll pay most likely. Other factors are pearling, shape, size, and fertility. Best of luck my friend!

Also, ive bought from COTA several times. There stock gallery has photos of every fish in stock. Every piece ive bought from cota has been perfect examplw of itself. Hell i bought 4 tamasopoensis cichlids and they all paired off and bred a day later??
