Was gone over Thanksgiving, so I left the net over, and the plants weren’t too happy. Could also be from the weather, but they also had some net marks on them, and the leaves were a little messed up. I am thinking of engineering some sprinkler to maybe scare away potential herons/egrets when they land…not sure if that would work, but if it does, i would prefer it to the net.View attachment 1569697

Heard they are hit or miss with raccoons since they’re smart and can get used to them. If you’re pond is deep enough, your koi are probably safe from raccoons so the sprinkler might work well for birds

You can also try a blue heron decoy…they’re territorial so they discourage others from landing.
