Are superworms and mealworms the same thing?

No they are related but not the same thing. Superworms tend to have hard shells than mealworms and are not recommended for most reptiles since if not properly killed have been known to chew out of the stomach of the reptile that ate them.

the supermeal worm to gross my sister and her friend out. i had like 5 dozen and i had told her thats what we were eating for dinner. she was like yeah right. but i talked it up and it looked like they were believing me (she was 14 at the time) so i popped one in my mouth and chewed up nice so they could see then swallowed. mmmmmm they are juicy though!
