Good idea, even though they will flow the same because it is the sump's pump that dictates how much water flows into the tank and then into the sump. With bigger holes you have more options on output of the pump and you can add on such things such as UV sterilizers and such.

I agree with rallysman, SHOW US SOME PICS!

and if a fish dies and plugs one overflow, you still have the other for backup

KK, my sister is in my tank when its filled with water, thats our 25lb turkey that was goooood
and my lil helper who would run off with small peices of wood that got cut up. My other lab dident feel like playing with us lol.

o and chompers i dident forget, thats how we drilled the first holes we used to start cutting the acrylic.

My dad tried to get me into the water but it was like 68* SYKE!!

Great work man. It looks nice!

Heh, we gota sand the cabinet door because the stain was to dark than we will repaint it. We still have to finish the other door, than drill the holes than my dad is done helping :).

I just gota figure out what size tank i can build with the peices of acrylic..

18" tall 37" wide
18" tall 39" wide
something like that.

Good Job Milky Unreal that look's bought!!

nicee

Thanks guys, but its not finished yet. It can still go wrong.. The stand is 2ft high so that + the tank is only like 4.5ft so u gota bend down some, but it's still nice. I cant wait till i figure out how to make the filter and the w/d overflow and all thats running. Then on x-mas day my fish get a new tank :)

That is AWESOME! You must be very proud! That is a sweet tank. Looks like a perfessional job!
