WHAT PART OF GEOGRAPHIC REGION OF THE WORLD DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND.
I would hope you would take time to read posts before you go off half cocked trying to slam your point.
I can assure you that taking north american and comparing it to that region of the world that the stats would not be lower.
Now the ? for you is this how many of the homicide in us are a direct result of law abiding citizenry who were acting in self defense? How many are a result of violent offender commiting crimes on innocents.

Funny how actually looking up facts (with citations) sometimes provides different results than just making stuff up...

Do you think that the op would like for me to get all long and winded turning his thread into a social geopolitical discussion where the comparative natures of the two distinct geographic regions which are compared are shown in the light of each other.
Do you think I should go to the great lengths that I could to prove my point. Personally I think not.
I could very easily take you to task on this yet shutting down presumptive nature of your thoughts would quickly lead to the closure of this thread.
It is exceptionally foolish of you to think that I am just making stuff up. EXCEPTIONALLY FOOLISH!.
As I stated at the beginning of this post I will not do so for the sake of the op.

I am certainly not calling you a liar (I would never say anything derogatory about an individual as heavily armed as you), but it is hard to believe that it actually says that you can walk around downtown with a bomb in your pocket.![]()

Here's an even sadder story that happened here in the USA a couple years back:

Having children around with a hundred various firearm is just asking for it.

It would be interesting to have a coffee with the op and have his daughter say what she thinks. I find kids are way more brilliant than people give them credit for.
I have 8 kids and I can totally identify with the concept being put forth by the op.
