He don't care. He just enjoys copying/pasting gibberish :ROFL:

imma chef I have a can opener and a full pantry of whoop ass

Go to the link I provided...and you can search by region...or countries in the region.

For example: http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/west-asia

Funny how actually looking up facts (with citations) sometimes provides different results than just making stuff up...

So Matt

WHAT PART OF GEOGRAPHIC REGION OF THE WORLD DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND.

I would hope you would take time to read posts before you go off half cocked trying to slam your point.

I can assure you that taking north american and comparing it to that region of the world that the stats would not be lower.

Now the ? for you is this how many of the homicide in us are a direct result of law abiding citizenry who were acting in self defense? How many are a result of violent offender commiting crimes on innocents.

So matt let me ask you a ?

Do you think that the op would like for me to get all long and winded turning his thread into a social geopolitical discussion where the comparative natures of the two distinct geographic regions which are compared are shown in the light of each other.

Do you think I should go to the great lengths that I could to prove my point. Personally I think not.

I could very easily take you to task on this yet shutting down presumptive nature of your thoughts would quickly lead to the closure of this thread.

It is exceptionally foolish of you to think that I am just making stuff up. EXCEPTIONALLY FOOLISH!.

As I stated at the beginning of this post I will not do so for the sake of the op.

Ask anyone who has come to North America from those areas of the world on this subject and you will quickly find out that much of what goes on there is not on your statistics simply because of the corrupt nature of the govt structure over there.

Shallow graves tell no tales and they most certainly do not end up on the books of the statistic makers. What of the violence against women and children that goes totally unreported etc. etc. etc.
http://www.meforum.org/2067/are-honor-killings-simply-domestic-violence

? is how much of the violence in the usa statistics is part and parcel of above actions. Yet how many north americans practice such actions?

It would take far to long to flesh out the reality for you.

There is a great reason why so many people are doing their best to get out of their homelands and make their way to places like USA, CANADA, etc...

But of course.

MFK needs less well-documented facts and more unsupported conjecture.

Again, this is opinion x opinion, based on the assumption that people still remember how to proffer them without getting agro.

Let us keep this clean, please.

And let us leave that geographical region where it is. And keep it that way...

I really think that provided a person follows all safety protocols that accidents will not happen.

It would be interesting to have a coffee with the op and have his daughter say what she thinks. I find kids are way more brilliant than people give them credit for.

I have 8 kids and I can totally identify with the concept being put forth by the op.

You guys really are crazy over the pond!

How can that be possible??

:eek:

It varies by state, Kentucky is a "free" state that lets its citizens live their lives with as little "big brother" as possible.

I would like to see that statute that says private citizens may carry "weapons of mass destruction".

I am certainly not calling you a liar (I would never say anything derogatory about an individual as heavily armed as you), but it is hard to believe that it actually says that you can walk around downtown with a bomb in your pocket. :eek:

Here you go...

LICENSE TO CARRY CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPONS
IN KENTUCKY
Kentucky’s license to carry concealed deadly weapons law became effective October
1, 1996 and is contained in KRS 237.110 through 237.136. The following summarizes
the main provisions of the current law and includes the 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006
amendments.
I. Deadly Weapons
As used in the Kentucky Penal Code, (See KRS 500.080.) "Deadly weapon" means any
of the following:
(a) A weapon of mass destruction;
(b) Any weapon from which a shot, readily capable of producing death or other
serious physical injury, may be discharged;
(c) Any knife other than an ordinary pocket knife or hunting knife;
(d) Billy, nightstick, or club;
(e) Blackjack or slapjack;
(f) Nunchaku karate sticks;
(g) Shuriken or death star; or
(h) Artificial knuckles made from metal, plastic, or other similar hard material;

A concealed carry permit in this state is not just for firearms like other states, its for ANY deadly weapon as it is in fact called a conceal deadly weapon permit, not a concealed gun permit.

Yeah, the problem is a few people with bad judgement or just not enough brains do things that put a taint on all gun owners/enthusiasts. Kind of like the idiots releasing their snakeheads into local waterways makes all MFKers look bad.

Here's an even sadder story that happened here in the USA a couple years back:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/jurors-uzi-trial-brace-graphic-replay/story?id=12556398

Very sad story, poor judgement all around. I believe it came out that the kid renting out the uzi was trying to convince the father to let the kid shoot the full size uzi instead of the micro as it has less recoil but the father insisted on the child shooting the micro uzi. God, just thinking about this makes my heart break. :(

Miguel. Do you think there should be a number of gun limit for people who have minors in the house?

Having children around with a hundred various firearm is just asking for it.

That makes zero sense, the 2A is for protection, so if you have a family you shouldnt be able to have the best means to protect them?

Eight kids?! Wow, I got to give you a hand. That must be tough at times but so great.

If the wife and I get into a place where we are comfortably financially I would love to adopt if we decide to have more children. No child should ever be left with out a loving home.
