im not buyin anything. Ill just be catching them from the wild. So no investments, and plus I already checked for cracks and stuff and its sealed. If i smoke out there Ill obviously not be blowin smoke at them. Ill blow it in the other direction. The way I see it, if they cant handle inhaling tiny bits of smoke theyd all b dead all over cuz theres nasty particles of all kinds of crap floating through our air...

Just dont get caught collecting wildlife without the proper permits. Its a nice little fine.

like I said before, ppl with caging this big that would rather house reptiles than a couple super models is beyond me.

Sounds like a cool idea it would get a little messy though you'd have to clean up lizard crap all the time though

screw the frogs, theyll keep you up all night with their barking. just go catch like 1000 anoles. fun!
i was thinkin this myself, cuz the porch is right next to me bedroom. So opening the window (screened) would suck cuz them frogs would keep me up all night. But Ill try it out with like 1 or 2 frogs and if they piss me off I can release them near the lake by my house. But I was gonna get a bunch of anoles. but I was also thinkin of like 10 crested geckos... cuz they cud probably survive but they r not natives... may have to give them a heat light then...

Y'know, the animals will probably come on their own if you provide the habitat. Just leave them some nice entrances and exits. That way you don't have to worry about taking care of them; if the weather turns nasty they'll head out to find shelter, and come back when it's nice again.

Definitely do not put non-natives out there unless you have some way to keep them in.

Exactly. My backyard screened porch has small roughly 1/2 inch opening between top canopy and screen and winds up with house geckoes -anoles-treefrogs in it.

My wife has lots plants there and imagine that attracts them. The house geckoes are smart they know the opening and come and go as please but the anoles and trees are not and I wind up netting them with big fish tank net and letting them go outside so they dont go hungry or thirsty.

In other words a pain and they are messy and wind up hosing the floor and screens weekly due to them and its ALLWAYS the same bunch over and over.
I transported 2 large anoles that wind up there all the time across a field behind my house by large tree only to have them return week later.
I recognized them lol.
