well there is already 1 green anole... so i would imagin theres a place he got in. hes the one who gave me the idea. I think i know where he got in... a small lil crack by the ceiling... so ill plug that n then they shudnt get out...

Mine also come in via the roof but my roof isnt solid its outdoor patio fabric and has gap . Geckos poo all over the the plants,etc so hose it down weekly .
I cant seal it as the top opens and closes if you want it with a crank so no solid seal.
You might be better off since you weather is also warm with a kiddie pool with stinkpots turtles or nice potted plant with chamaleon. As something thats contained and you can see it .
