There are many people who don't like Smarts, I am not overly fussed about the smaller 2 person ones.

But at the end of the day I live in a small country (Holland) and there is no way big monster cars would work. You would never be able to park anywhere.

That, and I think he's cute.

It is hard to get them in the U.S. I have a friend who has been waiting 8 months to get one, and he still doesn't have it. Pres. Bush passed laws limiting the number of fuel efficent cars imported into the country. My friend told me Smart was only aloud to import 5,000 in the U.S. Now if an independent importer could solve that problem. Other companies like Honda and Toyota have factories in the U.S., and that is how they get around it.
My friend who is buying the Smart has 2 Harleys. His motorcycles are bigger then the car he is buying lol...

Well it is a very efficient car I will give it that! I drove once to England from here and I think I only had to top it off once? Not bad at all!

Strange law to pass, but yeah I am sure someone will figure a way out. There are two types there is one that fits two people (fortwo) and then the one for four people (forfour) which is the one I have.

I remember seeing on fortwo in Cali a few years back by Venice Beach. Strange sight amongst all the massive cars.


Two Harleys? Not bad... my dad used to drive one, when I was 15-16 I used to LOVE going for rides with him.

Lol, its a very female car and I can see why men are not particularly drawn to it.

Basically if your living in Holland where its hard to find a place to part that isn't tiny its a handy car to have, but no, its not exactly a sexy car :)
 
I love my tough cars but can;t be bothered finding the photos!!!
Does anyone mind if i put my old man's up, it's me new favourite (we can pretend it's mine)!!!

neighbor has one on our little lake that is about 2 miles long :screwy: its insane!! love it when he takes me water skiing and wake boarding on it.


anyways back on topic.

First car back in 2005 was a 2000 Kia sportage :headbang2hated it and sold it.
Then drove a 92 Nissan Pick up (20000+ miles) for a while, loved that thing and still miss it

Then summer before college drove my dads 08 Tundra, was a beast..
Came back from school and get a subaru wagon!! Drove it for a month until I bought my current car 03 Nissan Frontier crew cab.

Never been a small car guy.
